Nikhil has chosen a unique story, and the actor has delivered a polished performance. He is too good in the comical scenes, and the dramatic ones show off his acting talent.
Anupama Parameswaran is a natural in the role of Nandhini, and from the very first scene, one feels a connection to her. She portrays a small-town girl convincingly, and her parts are well-written. The Best Tollywood Movie film’s director, Surya Pratap, he did a respectable job.
He was successful in getting the best performance from the lead couple, although he could have been a little more cautious with the suspense and a few crucial scenes. A feel-good story was written by director Sukumar, who leaves his stamp at a few key moments.
18 pages hindi full movie On-Screen Performances:
Nikhil has proven himself as a fine actor in many of his films, and he once again gives his best as Siddhu in this film. His character is nuanced, and he perfectly manages to take the audience for a ride along with him. Given that it is through his eyes that we see the story unfold, Nikhil steps up to the challenge very well.
Anupama Parameswaran is the soul of the story and she is perfectly cast in her role. She does a fine job with what she’s given and slips very easily into her character.
The other actors, like Ajay, Posani Krishna Murali, etc., do their part well and come and go as the story demands.
18 Pages Movie : Technicians Review
Director Sukumar penned the story where Hero loves a girl though reading her diary without even seeing her is old theme but he tries to relate it to present scenario infusing a couple of other elements too. The first half starts on a hurried note. It didn't take time to establish the hero's character. It's almost like hero got introduced with a breakup and immediately falls for a girl by reading her diary. This doesn't help to root for that character. As the story progresses with Siddhu starts reading the diary, Nandini's character is introduced and her story goes paralelly. While Siddhu gets to know more about Nandini he finds a change in himself and emerges as a new person. But, we didn't undergo the feelings and pain of Siddhu towards Nandini. This is where the film falters. With an interesting turn the Interval leaves the audience to discuss about the second half among themselves.
The second half revealed all the knots tied in the first half and the it spreads the whole story. The film which was a love story till then shifts to an investigative tone. But, the film sustains interest about to know whereabouts of the lead character. And finally as everything starts unfolding it feels like a different film altogether and dilutes the main love story. Besides love theme it also deals with having human interaction more than spending lives before mobile screen and keeping the loved ones alive by continuing things they love and desire.
Director Surya Pratap did a decent job but not an impressive one. He should have given better treatment with good scenes to make the core point make more relatable. Gopi Sundar's music stands as major highlight of the film. Almost all songs are good and also neatly picturised. Cinematography by Vasanth is decent and captured good visuals in songs. Editing by Naveen Nooli is adequate in first half and could have been better in second half. Production values are good but dubbing issues arise at a couple of instances.
Analysis- 18 pages full hindi movie
This film has a unique concept that relates to two different time zones. Despite a wonderful concept, the first half drags rather slowly and uses some forced emotions. The cinematic freedom employed at this point will undoubtedly change the audience's mood. The movie lacks any real coherence until the intermission.
However, unexpectedly, the movie's pace picks up in the second half when the hero begins an earnest quest for the heroine. The emotional scenes that appear at this point are skillfully performed. In a nutshell, 18 Pages is a soulful romantic love tale. Despite several clichés in the story, it will be a watchable film overall.
18 Pages Box Office Collection
On the other hand, 18 Pages Box Office Collection also struggled to have a strong start. 18 pages is considered now being called the best Tollywood movie. The popularity of Karthikeya 2 didn’t aid Nikhil in attracting audiences to theaters. The creators currently rely solely on word-of-mouth, which is respectable. 18 Pages Box Office Collection is 4 Crore at Day 1.
